1. We know that the cartridge heater of the extruder is always in a high-temperature working environment, and the temperature generally reaches about 300-500 degrees. Therefore, the shell material of the cartridge heater should be made of a material that can withstand continuous high temperature. Generally, stainless steel 321 is recommended. Seamless pipe or stainless steel 310s seamless pipe. Of course, there are also some manufacturers that sell at low prices. The material uses stainless steel 304 or stainless steel 201. Although the extruder cartridge heater is cheap, it is destined to burn.
2. When the cartridge heater is working, because it is in a high-temperature vibration environment, in the selection of electric heating wire, we usually recommend the use of nickel-chromium wire, because nickel-chrome wire is much more flexible than iron-chromium-aluminum, and it is not easy to break during vibration. . Generally use nickel-chromium 2080 resistance wire. But relatively speaking, the cost of nickel-chromium wire is much higher than that of iron-chromium-aluminum.
