Steaming oven heating element purchase notice
In the current steam oven market, the main materials of the heating element of the steam oven are quartz pipe, carbon pipe, and 310S stainless steel. Quartz tube has high thermal conductivity, does not require far infrared coating, good radiation matching absorption, long-term radiation performance does not change, and the price is cheap; stainless steel tube has high thermal conductivity, good quality, corrosion resistance and dry burning resistance, long life and reliable High performance, it is the main material of heating tube at present; carbon tube has the highest thermal conductivity, up to 98%, rapid heating, low energy consumption, good quality and easy to clean.
Because each material has different characteristics, many brands also use different materials of heating element to achieve the best results. For example, some tabletop steam ovens use a combination of quartz tube and stainless steel heating elements. The upper heating tube is selected from the quartz tube, which absorbs the high thermal conductivity of the quartz tube and has the advantage of good radiation absorption. The bottom heating element is stainless steel. Material, absorbing the advantages of stainless steel material resistance to falling and bumping. The combination of the two can not only achieve a good heating effect, but also ensure that the heating pipe is not easily damaged.
In terms of heating elements, many steaming oven vendors will also mention bluing technology. In fact, this is a process for surface treatment of steel materials. It is heated in the air or directly immersed in a concentrated oxidizing solution to form an oxide film of about 1 micron on the surface, the purpose is to improve the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of steel parts. So in general, the heating tube using blue technology is much better than the ordinary stainless steel heating tube, which greatly extends the service life of the heating element.
Some other friends asked me why the steaming oven I just bought turned red on the surface of the heating element when I turned on the test. After a while, it didn't turn red. Was it broken? First, it is normal for the surface of the heating tube to turn red. The reason for the redness of the surface of the heating element is that the surface load design is relatively high, and the surface temperature is at least above 400 degrees. When the temperature is climbing, the heating element heats up quickly and the power is large. This is a high load process, so the heating tube will turn red. When the internal temperature reaches a preset temperature, the power will drop and the heating element temperature will also If you lower it down, the heating element will not turn red.
The heating elements of the above two materials are mainly found in desktop steaming ovens, while the built-in steaming ovens are basically made of stainless steel, which is different from the 840 stainless steel of the oven, and the steaming oven uses 310S stainless steel. Relatively speaking, 310S stainless steel heating pipe is more suitable for steam oven, because 310S stainless steel has higher corrosion resistance than 840 stainless steel. The pure oven chooses 840 stainless steel heating pipe, mainly because the 840 heating pipe has better high temperature resistance, while the steaming and baking machine chooses 310S stainless steel, mainly considering its corrosion resistance.
Therefore, for the steam oven, there is no defect that the heating element is damaged by water vapor corrosion. Although the 310S stainless steel material focuses on corrosion resistance, the heating effect and high temperature resistance are not much different from the oven heating element.
