We have an extensive range of cartridge heaters to suit a wide variety of applications. Our cartridge heaters incorporate 80/20 Nickel Chromium heating wires mounted on a ceramic former close to the ceramic lined thin wall stainless steel sheath which gives excellent thermal conductivity and are ideal for high wattage applications or for applications requiring long life due to their self protective oxidation properties.

Warning

Whilst the elements are insulated from the sheath by magnesium oxide powder, for safety reasons the heater block and/or cartridge heater must be bonded to earth.

To purchase a Cartridge heater, several key product parameters need to be determined, as follows

1. Cartridge heater diameter confirmation

2. The choice of Cartridge heater

A. The conventional surface load is not very high, and the life requirement is not very high. The conventional stainless steel 201 and 304 can be used, and the price is very cheap.

B. The requirements are relatively high, the life expectancy is long, and the surface load is high. The imported materials and the imported wire winding method can be used. It is produced by German imported stainless steel 321 or Ingle 840, 800 materials, which is expensive, but the corresponding life is very long. The price/performance ratio is relatively high. 3. The choice of outlet mode:

The outlet mode is divided into: inner lead and outer wiring. Its characteristics and differences are briefly described as follows:

A. The structure is different. The lead of the inner lead heating tube is directly taken out from the inside, so that the lead of the heating tube is not easily broken during use; the outer wiring is led out by the internal lead rod, and then the high temperature lead is connected, and it is easy to break when used improperly.

B. The line temperature is not the same. The inner lead is made of mica glass fiber woven and pure nickel wire, which is resistant to high temperature of 600-800 degrees. The outer wire is made of conventional high temperature wire: silicone rubber fiberglass woven tinned copper wire (for imported single-head pipe), conventional It adopts high temperature wire of mica and high temperature wire of silicone rubber, and it is resistant to high temperature of 200-300 degrees.

C. The price is different. The price of the inner lead is almost twice as high as the price of the external wiring.
