Performance requirements for Cartridge heater tubes:

1. Heating time: Under the test voltage, the time from the ambient temperature to the test temperature should be no more than 15min.

2. Rated power deviation

a. Under the condition of sufficient heat generation, the deviation of the rated power of the component shall not exceed the range specified below;

b. For components with rated power less than or equal to 100W: ±10%.

c. For components with rated power greater than 100W, it is +5%~-10% or 10W, and the energy-saving electric heating coil takes the larger of the two.

3. Leakage current</DIV>

Cold leakage current and leakage current after water pressure and sealing test shall not exceed 0.5mA

The thermal leakage current at the operating temperature of the energy-saving electric heating coil should not exceed the calculated value in the formula, but the maximum does not exceed 5 mA.

When multiple components are connected in series to the power supply, the leakage current test should be performed with this set of components as a whole.

4. Insulation resistance

Cold insulation resistance is not less than 50MΩ at the factory inspection

After the sealing test, the insulation resistance after long-term storage or use should be no less than MΩ

The thermal insulation resistance at the working temperature shall not be lower than the calculated value in the formula, but the minimum shall be not less than 1 MΩ.
