Our high watt density cartridge heaters comprise a nichrome resistance wire, wound around a magnesium oxide (MgO) core, inserted in a high temperature alloy sheath. The remaining space is then filled with a high purity MgO insulation powder and the heater is swaged to a particular diameter. This process of swaging results in increased thermal conductivity, dielectric strength, and vibration resistance. The greatly increased strength of the heater ensures a long, high-performance lifespan and reduces critical downtime.

Fixed installation of Cartridge heater:
1. Mold Cartridge heater
The common mold Cartridge heater does not need to be fixed, and is directly installed in the heating hole for heat transfer.
2. Cartridge heater
The Cartridge heater has several types of common and L-shaped single-head heating rod, baffle-type single-head heating element, and threaded single-head heating elements.
Heating elements
(1) The common Cartridge heater refers to a heating pipe without baffles, threads and other fixed ways. The installation method is: directly mounted on the bracket; after drilling, copper or other metal pieces are placed on the heating pipe. Fix on the top (similar to the baffle type electric heating tube); some use the welding method to fix the heating tube.
(2) The L-type Cartridge heater can be directly inserted and used in general use environment. It is not necessary to fix it according to the installation instructions.
(3) The baffle type Cartridge heater can be used directly or welded on the basis of the baffle.
(4) The installation of the threaded Cartridge heater is to screw the heating pipe to the part that needs to be fixed. Usually, the liquid is heated by thread. Of course, the sealing property is strictly required. Solder on it.
