Is the surface of the electric immersion heater charged?
First understand what is an electric immersion heater:
The electric immersion heater is a metal tubular electric heating element. Its structure is very simple. The spiral electric heating wire is located in the center of the tube. The electric heating wire and the metal protective sleeve are tightly filled with a dense insulating and thermally conductive filler. The material is tightly sealed, and the pipe end is led out by a conductive lead-out rod for wiring.
Through the above analysis, it can be known that the middle of the metal shell of the immersion heater and the electric heating alloy wire will be filled with magnesium oxide powder with good insulation and thermal conductivity. Therefore, the electric heating alloy wire is charged. If the insulating magnesium oxide powder is not filled in the middle, the surface of the electric heating tube will definitely be charged.
Therefore, the reason why the surface of the electric immersion heater is not charged is that the main reason is that the tube is filled with an insulating filler, which is generally high-purity magnesium oxide powder.
