Maintenance technical description of hot runner heating element
Use a multimeter to check the power of the coil heater and whether the thermocouple is damaged. If you need to replace it, please follow the procedure below:
1. Remove the hot mold half from the mold.
2. Remove the positioning ring (the other function of the positioning ring is to fix the nozzle).
3. Use M3 screws to install on the lifting hole, remove the hot nozzle, and pay attention that the coil heater cannot be kneaded.
4. Remove the snap ring and coil heater heat shield.
5. Hold the head of the nozzle, rotate it clockwise and turn and pull the coil heaterl outside to gradually release it from the nozzle.
6. When the device is newly added, the coil heater should be as close as possible to the main body of the nozzle, and the front end of the coil heater should reach the main body of the ring groove at the front end of the core of the nozzle.
7. Turn the coil heater clockwise to make it move toward the head of the nozzle to ensure that the heating wire reaches the front end of the nozzle completely. The coil heater should be scattered on the nozzle and the center should be thinner.
8. Install the heating coil heat shield. If the heat shield is tight, check whether the coil heater is in place.
9. Install the spring.
10. Check the standard resistance value of the coil heater and calculate the power (the standard power is engraved on the heating coil), and check the resistance value of the thermocouple (0 or less resistance).
