Precautions and maintenance of using electric heating wire

1. The electric furnace wire should be designed according to the power wiring method, reasonable surface load, and the correct choice of wire diameter;

    2. The electric furnace wire should be inspected thoroughly before installation, remove the ferrite, carbon deposit, and the hidden danger of contact with the electric furnace to avoid short circuit, so as to prevent the wire from breaking down;

4. Before using the electric furnace wire, check the sensitivity of the temperature control system to prevent the temperature from malfunctioning and cause the electric furnace wire to burn.


Since the resistance wire is mainly used in heating equipment such as electric furnaces, care should be taken during daily use:


1. The scale inside the furnace must be cleaned regularly with a brush, broom or compressed air to prevent short circuits from falling on the alloy components. Generally, the cleaning should not be less than once a month.

2, the heat-resistant steel components such as the bottom plate, the citrus, and the furnace can be lifted and knocked to remove the scale of the iron oxide to avoid collapse or burying the components. Especially for chrome-manganese-nitrogen steel, the peeling is more serious when used later.

3. The lower teeth of the box furnace and the ring cutter of the parallel furnace cover must be tightly inserted into the sand sealing groove. The sand inside the sand seal cannot be overfilled and must be leveled. If it falls into the sand in the furnace, it should be cleaned up in time. For low temperature furnaces, a layer of intact asbestos rope liner can be placed.

4, the external thermal salt bath furnace should be hoisted regularly to remove the molten salt. The condensate on the surface of the component can be cleaned with hot water; the condensate on the shelf can be removed by scraping.

5, the furnace cover of the brass holding furnace must be docked tightly to prevent the "copper cream" from falling into the furnace and eroding the components.

6. Avoid contact between non-ferrous metals such as copper, aluminum, zinc, tin, lead and electric heating elements. Whether it is fine powder, melt or steam, it is very harmful to the erosion of components at high temperatures. This is because the eroded portion forms a "pit hole", the cross section becomes small, and finally it is blown due to overheating.

7. The cover plate of the lifting electric annealing furnace should be tightly pressed to prevent overheating and melting when the casting is annealed and the components are buried. Therefore, it is necessary to check frequently and remove the sand in time.

8. Due to thermal expansion and contraction and creep elongation during heating and shutdown, the bolts leading to the rod wiring clip are prone to oxidation loosening and should be inspected and tightened regularly.

9. The rod hole should be blocked tightly to prevent the leakage of the shielding gas from burning, causing the rod to oxidize and peel off, so that the rod and the clip are in poor contact.
