How to calculate the price of tubular heater?what should be considered in the calculation


When many customers call, they will ask us how much is it to make a tubular heating element? In fact, this question is really difficult to answer, because the tube is non-standard customized, there is no price standard, all are calculated based on the voltage, power, tube diameter, length and other data of the tubular heater provided by the customer.


As we all know, from the perspective of the components of the electric heating element, the electric heating tubular is composed of a resistance wire, a lead rod, an insulating magnesium oxide powder, a metal sheath, a sealing material, an insulator, and a terminal. The internal materials selected according to different working environments and heating temperatures are also different.


For example: If the customer wants to buy a 220V single-head electric heating element, then we need to know the following parameters to calculate the price for him:


(1) Pipe diameter and length


(2) Voltage and power


(3) Working environment and working temperature


(4) Order quantity


In order to prevent the filling material exposed at both ends of the electric heating tubular element from being damp and ensure our safety in use, we must seal the end of the electric heating element. The sealing materials used are different for different operating environments or temperatures. Today, I will tell you how to choose the right sealing material for electric heating tubular?

 

1.If it is heating oil, water, water vapor or the like

 

a. If the working temperature of the end is less than 150 degrees: there is vibration, you can use epoxy resin; a single glass sealing material for non-vibration.

b. If the end working temperature is between 150-250 degrees: silicone plugs and room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber can be used.

c. If the end temperature is greater than 300 degrees: enamel glass sealing material can be used.

 

2.If it is heating metal mold, nitrate, low melting point metal, etc.

 

a, if the end working temperature is less than 250 degrees: silicone plug, Nanda rubber can be used.

b. If the end working temperature is greater than 250 degrees: composite glass can be used.
