How to connect 380V cartridge heater?
There are two wiring methods to connect the cartridge heater according to different rated voltages:
Star connection method: The rated voltage of the heating tube is 220V. First connect one end of the three electric heating tubes together, and then connect the other end to the three live wires of 380v.
Triangle connection method: The rated voltage of the electric cartridge heater is 380V. First connect the three cartridge heater in a ring, and then connect the three hot wires of 380v to the three connectors of the cartridge heaterelectric heating tube.
If one end is closed and there is only one terminal, it means that the other end is directly connected to the shell. If the power supply uses three-phase power, 126 is evenly distributed to each phase, which means that 42 heaters are connected to each phase. The neutral point of the power supply is connected to the case and is grounded.
The use of cartridge heater generally follows several principles:
1. Fully understand the environment in which the cartridge heater is used, whether it is medium conduction or infrared radiation.
2. Fully understand the operating temperature requirements of the cartridge heater, and choose a suitable electric heating pipe. In general, the power is large, the heat is fast, the temperature rises fast, and vice versa.
3. Select a cartridge heater of appropriate power, and pay attention to the load of the power on the premise of ensuring effective use of temperature requirements.
4. The dry-fired cartridge heater should pay special attention to the heat dissipation effect of the use environment, which is divided into still air and flowing air.
5. Dry-fired cartridge heater are strictly forbidden, especially electric heating element used for immersion.
6. Fully understand the operating voltage of the electric heating tubular. Generally, the voltage of the electric heating tube is 220V and 380V.
7. Fully understand the wiring method of cartridge heater, usually star connection and delta connection. cartridge heater can be connected to 220V or 380V, and multiple heating tubes can be connected to 380V voltage.
When using a cartridge heater, it is generally used correctly as long as the above principles are followed. If there is a problem, you should also consult the original cartridge heater manufacturer for assistance.
